Veracious To Lay (+1)

Kurt Philip Behm

You till your own garden,

you sow your own seeds

You harvest the memories,

you feast on the breeze

You water those choices,

both made and unmade

        Your truth deeply hoed

—veracious to lay

(Villanova Pennsylvania: July, 2017)

Feelings Attack

Pain in the doing,

ease in the writing

Memory calls distant,

words answer back

Time of no meaning,

experience flows

Images resurface

—feelings attack

Holy cannoli, every time I've read your poems I'm always left speechless! They are so simple and effortless, ever enchanting!

And you are so kind with your words 🙂

      Good stuff, once again.

Kurt, you put me into a dilemma! Cannot decide which one of the two really great poems here I do like better. I guess I have to take the two-for-one deal!

That's the kind of problem I like, Fred. Thanks for reading both.
