Fireflies

Nyoko_beautiful moon

Look , look

Let's go outside

To see the fireflies play

Flicking through the night

Hiding in the trees

That are so dark and happy to see some light

Look, look

See fireflies twinkling like stars

Shining where ever you are

But you have to be quick and fast

Fireflies go back to their homes

Before the break of day

But until then let's go have some fun

Until another night begun

I like this. I've always loved fireflies. Your tribute to natures illuminating aspects is simple and heart-felt. Thanks for this.

      You are most welcome
I'll love nature so much I feel like I'm connected to it

That's a wonderful attitude to have. It shows in your work.

        what about sleep

        • Nyoko_beautiful moon

Think of fireflies like a dream that makes you want to go to sleep until the break of day then play so more at night

Light and playful, I like it.
