Without You

myself and me

The light is so bright, it hurts my eyes.

The night is too dark, it swallows me in whole.

The silence is so vast, it empties my soul.

The wound is too deep, it tears me into pieces.

I feel hollow and I m in sorrow.

Lingering on your soft whisper,

Longing for your gentle touch,

Waiting for you to come back,

Thinking to hold you tight.

Without you, the Sun is so pale,

Without you, the night is so long.

Without you, nothing make sense,

Without you, the world comes to the end.

Such true thoughts and feelings expressed in your writing. Feels like we are travelling the same road. I am grieving the loss of my husband. Hope you will be happy again soon.
