When I Die(Was This What You Wanted?)

Poetic Misfit

When I die
Tell my exes "is this what you wanted"
Are you happy now?
Broke someone who only wanted to love you
Yet you didn't figure it out

This note or maybe this poem you may call it.
You know it hurts?
Hurts! That she loved you
Hurts! That you hurt her
Hurts! That she cried every night
Hurts! That you're all she thinks about

Was this what you wanted?
When I die
Don't unfold the memories
Put them back
Don't speak
Don't grab that microphone
You had a chance
Was this what you wanted?

When I die
Don't cry
If you planned to hurt me "intentionally"
Don't cry
Was this what you wanted?

You have someone else now
Made me suffer
Thought I got over you
You have someone
Who's not me
Was this what you wanted?

I think about my funeral as well, at times. Scary thought, but thrilling too. Many of those so called, "What ifs?". Fitting. Good stuff, keep it up.

Lots of pain pours from your words here. I hope the writing of this was helpful / theraputic for you.. I know that some of my stuff on here has been for me very painful to pen. It is a good thing and people here are receptive and helpful.
