RUN GIRL RUN

kpomeroy4119

can she run
will she go
run they cry
loud to pierce the most  walls like ears
stubbornshe runs and runs
the never ending forest going quickly by her like  mist of green
even with this strength she can't do it for long
so many demands and whispers of false promise for the run
run fills the sound of loud screams
run for me they demand
she runs not giving up.
her arms bleeding from the cuts she endures
running the race
this is what they say
this is what the demand
STOP RUNNING
a boy
a walking boy
so quiet
she walks
they share the same cuts
the screams still come
the screams cant touch them
they stopped running
the mist of green a forest of beauty
they bled and walked
