love is forever
or so they say
but no one knows
what love truely is
they treat it like a game
trying to figure out the rules
taking it for granted
but love has no rules
no guidelines
no limits
love is wonderful
and yet so cruel
love is a suicidal madness
and yet a savings grace
love can save you
or kill you inside

it is unfathomable
a double edged blade
a feeling of joy
that can instantly become sadness
and pain

Love in its purest is unconditional. Love will teach you what love is. It will teach you to let go the lover who cheated on you and still love them for what they shared with you. Love will teachyou to hope that ex ppartner finds fulfillment and does not stray again. love does not hate, love does not seek revenge.
