To Be Beautiful

MissileOfUncertainty

I want to be beautiful,
But not in the traditional sense.
I want my lips to make you melt,
And my touch to make you breathless.

I want you to see stars in my eyes,
And hear bells in my voice.
I want my heartbeat to be a symphony of your choice.

I want my skin to be your destination,
With every landmark you want to see.
I want to be your home,
You're everything.

I want to feel your fingers on my cheeks,
I want all the adoration in your eyes to be for me.
I want to be the only thing you seek,
And the only thing you need.

I don't want to win a beauty pageant-
Or to be enticing to any male I meet.
The only attention I desire,
Is the heat of your stare,
The warmth from your touch.
The only worshiping I want done,
Is if it's from you and your love.

MofU, you just wrote the blueprint of how a man should treat the woman he loves. Great poem!
