Don't Pretend

Domi

Don't pretend to love me,

Tell me pretty lies,

Talk down to me,

And expect me to be the same,

I let down my walls,

For your personal attack.

Don't pretend to tolerate me,

Act like you don't do nothing wrong,

Trick me into thinking I'm crazy,

When I'm already distraught,

I made the mistakes,

Only for you to exploit them.

Don't pretend to care,

When your actions show otherwise,

Then isolate me,

And show me no emotion,

I'm an emotional person,

Please don't make me numb.

Don't pretend to want me,

You constantly looking at me with distaste,

Give me a false sense of hope,

Then watch my world fall apart,

Through my tears,

And smile about it.

Don't pretend to be my other half,

When your already whole to begin with,

I fell apart a long time ago,

And trying to figure out where all the pieces go,

You pretend to help,

But glue becomes a mess when small pieces are involved.
