Blood On The Snow

“Blood on the Snow”

The lingering sorrow.
Gun blue eyes
On a moment,
When time dared not breathe,
Just blossoming,
Love lies bleeding
Ever steady
Softly cocked,
I am felled!

*Love Lies Bleeding is also a flower know as: Amaranths

Amaranthus used to be grown a lot here in the UK as a summer bedding plant - don't see it so often nowadays - a pity - its a showy plant. A powerful and intriguing write Cat.
