The miraculous moon is a coin the colour of gold,
gracefully glistening next to the scorching sun in the vast nothingness of space.
It is a colossal thumbprint that has been stamped onto the sunless ink pad of space by a mighty giant,
along with thousands upon thousands of miniature stars.
The moon is a bright, glistening smile,
shining elegantly down onto the wondrous Earth.
It is a droplet of clear, sapphire water,
floating majestically like a leaf on the murky pond of never ending space.
The moon is a shard of transparent glass,
shattered aimlessly across space in a million minute pieces.
It is a tremendous eye,
watching over earth like a mother over her child.
