I Ate Breakfast Outside this Morning

hboo

Today I ate breakfast outside.

I brought my black coffee and honey nut cheerio's and sat on my wicker patio chair

I watched as elderly folk, middle aged people & adults with dogs passed me, walking or running.

I observed as cars drove by rushing to make their morning commute.

I saw birds fly above my head and sing an oh so beautiful tune.

I ate breakfast outside this morning, and in a world so fast paced, I sat, I sat on my wicker patio chair alongside my glass table and I took a second to thank god I'm alive to try one more time.

I know today I will thrive as I continue to live this beautiful life.
