To face one's demons

Q

To face ones demons, you first have to see,
That taking the easy route will not make you free.
Ignoring your pain is temporary relief,
For later in life it will be a thief.

To face ones demons, you must be strong,
For the pain you feel will ring like a gong.
Memories will come with fiery pains,
But if you weather the storm, you will be soothed by the rains.

Find a way for you to make small victories over your fear. Looking at a task as a whole is daunting, but breaking it down into steps is manageable.
