Who am I?

Ljneedham08

I don't know who I am,
I've changed so many times.
so many different versions
like completely different lives.

I don't know who I am,
I don't know how to be.
I've just learnt to copy others
to live acceptably.

I don't know who I am,
I don't know how to feel.
I don't know how to separate
what is and isn't real.

I don't know who I am,
but maybe that's alright.
maybe it's a good thing, well,
it gives me more to write!

Anything that feeds the writing urge can't be all bad. Good on you for pursuing it.

I really enjoyed this poem. Mirrors my own feelings as I’ve changed and grown as a man over time. Looking back at all the different stops along the way. I’m actually working on a piece similar to this theme. Your poem served as a little inspiration to continue working on it. Thanks for sharing.
