Indeed, why do we make a 'god' the scapegoat for what we ourselves create? Are we not, collectively, creating our version of 'reality' and everything in it as we go along? Your poem speaks to a deep philosophic question, Raskolnikov. Well done!
Thank you much, too many people blame the supernatural for the bad things and give credit to it for the good things. If a terminal patient survives it is considered a miracle instead of the hard work of a doctor, but when it something bad happens people also blame the super natural by saying for instance, when the Nazis killed all those innocent people that it was either satin or god working in "mysterious ways". No one ever just owns up to what they and the rest of humanity has and continues to do.
