Paint With Soul

myself and me

The color is flowing,

The brush is dancing,

The line is creating,

The image is appearing,

All come into living.

White and black,

Purple and blue,

Heaven and hell,

Angle and devil,

Beauty and ugly,

Peace and war,

Reality and fantasy,

All intertwined together.

The fire, the desire,

The despair, the hope,

The dark, the bright,

The fight, the fright,

The fallen, the raising,

The struggle, the anger, the suffer,

All out of the way.

The inferior is groaning,

The violence is laughing.

The wound is bleeding,

The tear is running.

The pain is growing,

The peace is breaking.

Life has been trampled,

Freedom has been prisoned,

Justice has been contained,

The world has been poisoned.

Attacked by the color,

Struck by the contrast,

Shocked by the concept,

Intoxicated by the performance.

With the earth in your heart,

With the humanity in your mind,

With your soul,

You are painting.

As an artist it is always uplifting when a painting moves somebody . Unfortunately we seldom get the feedback that compels someone to write about our work ... good expression of your feelings ,a painting in and of itself

I believe most people out there appreciate artist's work. It is just too hard to find a way to express it and it is not easy to get connect with the artists either.

Art and poetry, two beautiful means of expressing, as this fine poem illustrates. Thanks for sharing, m.m.
