World's Edge

Nathan Fairchild

O'er the world's edge

Where art such wreckage

Scatters into oblivion

Unseen from yonder ledge

From whence battles begin

These wars art fought in

O'er the name of love

Wilst all else rise above

May nothing be left behind

Whence push comes to shove

Be kind and please rewind

Or next wilst come to find

O'er and under unforeseen

Ready thy blade, ever so keen

To go forth first must go back

If thou wish to field the green

Shield again that first attack

May love find what thou lack

O'er the world's edge
