Reaching out

b-LAH-que

I shriek from the distance that time has stretched
To call to a friendship its silence could wreck
I'm vexed
'Cos you are to me who I want to be;
Thee whom I want to reflect
Perplexed, I seek the space beyond sight
Beyond wish, apprehension, and thoughts come to light
Where I can speak of myself from the heart while still saying
What is, to social etiquette, right
There's comfort in blindness where voices connect
I'm a wreck
All around me, it's all that all see
And I don't want you to know next
But meeting you there is all my growth needs
And its fear is what keeps me in chec
