Pain

Karls03

When people think of pain,

They think of physical

They think of punching

Of kicking

Of cuts...

Cuts.

What an interesting word it is.

Cuts are both mental and physical

Sometimes they hurt

But sometimes, the heal

Sometimes having the power

They power to determine what you feel

Is all you need.

Because you see,

I hurt.

I always hurt,

I will always

Hurt

But it will never be a physical pain

I don't care about physical pain

It means nothing to me.

No,

It's the mental pain that truly matters.

It's the mental pain that tears into your flesh

Like a wild animal trying to get in,

Or, a hurt soul trying to get out.

"I don't care about physical pain" I can relate to this so much. When I was depressed I cried almost everyday, when I crashed my car and broke my femur and 3 parts of my pelvis, I laughed for most of the experience and never shed a tear. Psychological pain is a bitch isn't it?

It truly is, it's one thing I haven't learned how to truly deal with yet, writing is just one way for me to get out some of my pain.
