Morning Glory
I
Let’s take a break and go on holiday
Deep in the woods by the lake, far away
We’ll frolic around naked, just you and me
We’ll give Google Earth something racy to see
II
Once we get there I’ll pitch the first tent
We’ll eat, drink & laugh before the main event
We’ll walk the path serenaded by the crickets
Full moon overhead, down to the thicket
CHORUS
We’ll lay on a blanket under the stars
You can be Venus and I’ll be Mars
We’ll follow the advice of goddess Qetesh
And enjoy the pleasures of each other’s flesh
III
In the calm night air, our actions easily carry
Loud enough to wake the elf’s and the fairy
Then you cry out loud, like a psyched-blues singer
When I fill you up with my sweet custard slinger
IV
We’ll awake at dawn, with a wonderful story
As we lay there basking in our full morning glory
One thing you know I’ll take you all the way to Zen
It’s time for round two, let’s do it again
BRIDGE
There is no place in time that I’d rather be
Then right here with you in our joyous fantasy
There is nothing that could ever be, better than this
Than taking each other all the way to bliss

- Comment from author about the poem: My last submission was rather dark, so I thought I would lighten up a bit with a humorous poem peppered with a little self indulgence
