    Agree completely with no.2 and no.3, Kurt, but have a comment on no.1.

    If 'Eyes' is representative for all the human senses, I agree.
    If not, I don't agree, since blind people feel love, hate, and all the other emotions the same as all of us.
    I take your poem to mean that there cannot be any emotion unless there is an experience.
