Underwater Love

b-LAH-que

Submersed, belies a love I need

That hides averse to what I plead

Its sights so deep might slightly creep

Through ripples that deplete such scenes

And hide between secrets I seek

And peaks where shallow breaths I've breathed

But oceans surround, inmost fathoms abound

Where I may drink in life or drown

Though leagues from here appear most bleak

Rewards I reap compel me down

A shimmer found amidst its shroud

Emits what far beneath we keep

When past the surface's deceit

Lie treasures within depths I'm bound
