Grey flowers

Spyrolove

Grey walls, grey ceiling, grey light, grey life. Everything dull, everything pointless. No excitement, no wonder. Walking around head down, hood up, never able to look up. Went class to class trying to smile at the ones who waved yet it always faded away, it never stayed. Giving up was the option, nothing else worked in the grey world. "Friends" who saw past you, never really looked at you, if they did they'd see how broken you were from your eyes. World works in mysterious ways, because when you were ready to make that grey black, it sends some color into your life. Looking up for once, that person seemed to make the once grey flowers turn green, red, yellow, and blue. Beautiful were the colors as were you, butterflies flew up and around your stomach, something was in store and instead of grey you saw color once more. Beginning was very little as you two grew closer more and more color became visible, suddenly you saw life as if it were made of rainbows. The clouds came every now and then and tried to bring back the grey, but you kept the rainbow in the life of grey.. You saved the little girl from the grey world, so please never leave because you made the world so beautiful

  • Comment from author about the poem: I was depressed and got to the point where I was going for my third suicide attempt. But I met this one guy and I somehow knew he was meant for me, two in a half years later here we are he showed me how to happy and see the world differently and now we're having a baby together, we may not be dating right now but everything is working out and I love him more then anything
