Life of a smile

roudan

When life gets hard and everything  there is, hurts.
And your steps are walking lonely on the narrow road
Keep your head up and smile
cos everything we know, eventually will die,
word after word, mile after mile,
With everything that's good and bad inside.

When everything that's good  is joined inevitably by the  bad
Keep smiling , don't be sad
Cos everything there is will die,
like me and you, like you and I.

When nights will become  fairy tales
And days will drown within the  truth
I'll know you'll try  to hide  that  smile
Knowing you'll die, knowing I'll die...
but now remember our youth

When questions are afraid to know, the answers,
and answers are given before questions,
Smile everything will die,
with everything you hid and kept inside
with everything you cursed and loved alike.
When everything that comes you see it passing
And everything that's passing comes again
Keep smiling while the time is washing...
our free souls.

A smile is universal. Everyone needs it, and everyone has it.

Nicely written roudan. And the life of a smile is.......eternal.
