The Fury Of A Patient Man

Edthepoet

These eyes of mine
Absorbing light
Allow nothing
To escape..
Now take a look
At how black hole
Behaves..
And tell me
If you still care
For the every day mundane
If you could tell me what
You really are
Would you still
Play this game
Or would you still
Fool yourself
Into Pretending
That this is where
"you" will stay
An unconscious conscience
Forever trapped
Between the crunch
And the bang.
Every moment in time
Every event that has
And will Take place
Is living inside your brain
We already know every answer
To every question
Every solution
To every problem
Every cure
For every cause
Our thoughts will
One day awake
Like the fury of a patient man
Finally pushed to break
By a greater force
Which exists beyond
Any kind of description
Mere words can explain.

Ed, I really like your poem and the title "the fury of a patient man' sounds great!
I agree with the conclusion of the poem as well.
