- I write here naked as the day I was born
Giving as raw, soulful and with my heart
Nothing to hide, revealing it all, no agenda or strategic words.
So you best know what this hand has seen, before you agree to shake it.
Do not come to me, not as you are.
That's not the way I run my vessel.
My game is simple, be true to my words.
If this does not reflect, then you are not actually here.
You can just keep pretending you are.
Never will you truly understand my words. As I can not begin to fathom yours.

Wow, this was incredible, both the video and the poem!
Thank you so much, means alot. Truly
Thank you for giving your honest, open self. I appreciate that from friends unendingly. A double gift, your words and video.
Ah! Thank you for helping me filter out all the other words that had no place to be shared.
Some are ment to just let go and that I did once my music flowed
super true write. I'm impressed.
Thank you, glad to have an impact on a magical wordsmith as you are 😉
Just saying what I feel! As the paper has no allegiance and it has always been my place to fix what's in my mind as now I do truly see I become what I write.
When I was young I would write hate and grief, in these last years I've began to find forgiveness to my self and others, seeing inside that we are all suffering a bit. Now I get the the biggest thing holding me back, is me.
Think I may repost that tomorrow 😉
we all do what we think is best whatever that may be. I wish you well in your poetry.
Awesome poem Dan! Yes, sometimes it feels as if we were naked, letting it all hang out, letting the world see much too deep into our interior.
.....and the music ain't bad either!
I have nothing to hide, the things I'm ashamed off and the things I'm trying to be.
My interior as you wonderfully put it, is here for all to see.
As you know, I truly appreciate your words and the feedback on the tune!
