Naze Oniya/Cherokee Rose

whisperingquill

Primal eloquence
meek inheritance,

ravashing pride
tears serenade
crying spirits
of the wind,

open hands
unto these lands
we shared and coalesce,

driven back
broken from self
cauterized into
archived scrutiny,

resilience noted
in slumbering
humbleness,

waiting till
Wankan Tanka,

calls out the
dogs of war,

battlecry
everlasting sunrise
parts the vapor,

victory risen
conspirators spent,

freedom delivered
through attrition,

dance great spirit

rest now in the bosom
of Nahimana.

Cherokee Rose

A view from afar,

as she seeps
amaranthine whispers,

celestial eddies
sluice gently encapsulating
my internal purgatory,

respire luminance seducing
my sopor propensity.

Ancients walk with her,
emanating mystic drum beats
of hypnotic transparency,

ta-wo-di encircle
as she traipse elegantly
goddess of nature,

mother of e-la
fierce warrioress
mighty da-ga-no-ge-da
fisted she stands.

The U-ne-qua rains
tsi-la-do-o-s-gi
draping her frame,
even her a-s-gi
seems to u-tse-tsi,

how I long to be captured
by her u-wo-du-hi,
do-hi-yi.

Gor. Geous. I loved each syllable. And when I get up in the morning, I'm going to read and love it again.
