Breathe

Mellowman

Breathe

One deep breath

Rejuvenates without haste

Even when it is your very last

The very next air we likely taste

Is so much sweeter than in the past

Yet for all of us whose heart beats still

To in and ex hale at sheer will

Sometimes fret about our final gasp

As if control of it we can grasp

Till we realize we breathe as one

Bound in love, never undone

For air and love is one in the same

Eternally present and has one name

Written on every soul

Engulfing each spirit full

To find what its true essence is

Simply choose so not to miss

The invitation to know true bliss

Love is oxygen. Now if we all can walk in it, the best we can. Nice to meet you.
