A Brother Loved, Lost, and Found

FrannyWanny

In the moment of a memory

He wandered into the past to view

Remembering was elementary

Recognizing was arduous to do

He gazed upon this stranger

Whose eyes were red as a rose

And in those eyes no danger

But trust developed and it shows

Gazing further at the man

He examined a torn, tattered cloth

And after a further mind scan

A scarf that looked eaten by a moth

He shaped that scarf in the past

For a youthful brother whom split away

So that meant he had found him at last.

And together they could stay

They embraced with arms and feathered wings

Their angelic auras merging into one

Heavenly brothers could now live like kings

In the golden palace with their troubles done

  • Comment from author about the poem: I thought up this poem after I used the words "In the moment of a memory" in a roleplay in which to angelic brothers were reunited. So I made the poem based around that.
