When will i ask

ModernDayShakespeare

The train station home a girl i see
a nice blue dress on the c2c

i sit down flummoxed, and i wonder where
2 seconds later, she sits next to my chair

Now im a confident chap and not normally nervous
i just wanted to look but aware of all things pervous

Do i break the ice or just sit there like norm
another "wonder what would have been" and the proverbial "yawn"

As my pal Dwayne says wisely " who knows whats destined"
ive know this guy 2 years and hes up there with best friends

A tablet to take or a poem to write
after this little ditty..  you know what..
im feeling alright ;)

  • Comment from author about the poem: Hi fellow word lovers, I should have signed up to something like this years ago, I adore words, I love putting them together and ive always done silly little rhymes. \r\nThis poem was written in about 1 minutes 15 seconds, ive just got in from work and a beautiful female sat down next to me (this is after noticing her outside the station..i said to my pal Dwayne right that\\\'s my train..low and behold she sat next to me..I was annoyed I didn\\\'t strike up a convo but as stated in the poem, im the dude that always wonders what if lol I haven\\\'t written a ditty in months and I love that neuron that circulated my brain shouting POEM , anyhow, I look forward to posting often and being part of the community ! peace :)

Welcome! I enjoyed this tale, and glad you aware of not being pervous...that gave me a giggle.
