It

Tia Davis/テイア

You love It so much It fades away

I loved a light

It was so close to my heart

To close

It felt everything my heart felt

Thats not always a good thing

The light was such a beutiful thing

It really did shine

It tried to share its light

Everytime my heart was turning to dark

Its light would make it shine

But slowly It was fading

But I was shining

It was leaving

I was going

Between the both of us it was tight

Now we are creating a fissure

Creating Death

And Life

In order for me to survive

The light lost its light

It is now my shadow

It is now me and I am now It

You love It so much It fades away

A cleverly constructed poem using receding lines to emphasize diminishing activity and occurrences! Well done, Tia.
