Silent Screaming

danny13

I wander lonely as a cloud,

Screaming inside, don't make a sound,

The voice within laughs and mocks,

Never falters, never stops,

It tells me I'm worthless and weak,

No one will listen if I speak,

They hear the words, but not the meaning,

More like a whisper, than the the screaming,

If they heard the voice I hear so loud,

They too would be lonely, as a cloud.

Here we hear, and we listen or rather read. Work as good as this always gets a read and, deserving as it is, worthy comment. It is an excellent and enjoyable piece.
