Gone for a while

Well 

I've been gone for a while

been set to ponder

and so much I've missed

and so much I am still learning

the part of me I lost 

I still am longing for

but I just push forward 

somedays inevitably hard

others even harder

As our distance grows even farther

will I make it back and if I do

what will that even look like
