Paramour's Picnic

Noveyre

To live inside a mason trellis,

bedaubed in bright begonias-

colorful and riveting,

a fairies' true fantasia.

What with shimmer wings to glitz the wind

hanging there, humming fins

swimming in the lucid air

like lovers' struck by cupid.

And that would be just perfect,

as paramour's on a picnic,

nothing ever insipid,

what with our sweets in basket.
