You were superman ,
I was Duck tales .
That's the way it always was .
You thought you were Superman for the hat ,
Or the comics,
Or the T-shirt,
Or the superman wallet .
Maybe those things played a part .
But to me ,
You were superman because you are my hero,
My strong man from the start .
Duck tales ?
What even is that ?
The cartoon about Donald on they Disney channel .
But I don't have a Duck tales Wallet,
Or T-shirt,
Or hat .
I thought it came from the fact a man we both loved couldn't say my name,
So he called me Quackie.
You told me that wasn't the case,
I was Duck Tales because of the way I sneezed ,
And my big eyes like something from the TV,
I was Duck tales because of the way I had to stop and pick up white feathers In the street.
You told me why I was Duck Tales .
I never told you you're my hero .
