To be a Poet -- Revised

hboo

To be a poet...

To be a poet... you must spill your emotions as if you are a fine Dom Perignon cascading into a glimmering champagne glass. Aged like your thoughts, sealed inside a bottle similar to your mind. You sit and brew until the result is something magnificent.

To be a poet... Means you have no fear, for your pain will be put on display for the world to hear.

To be a poet... Means you must articulate your words, similar to the way the sun sets along Ventura Beach. You must spill sentences that are beautiful and intense no matter the circumstance.

To be a poet... means your mind is a very rare find, for you can contort even the most ghastly experiences into a concoction of words that will sing to the ears .

To be a poet.. means to speak from the soul even if your not whole.

To be a poet.. means to heal because sometimes we get a raw deal but were learning, learning to be real.
