Rainy Days

danny13

On rainy days I sit in a haze,

Staring at the razor blade,

I thought that it was just a faze,

But still the pain won't go away,

The light inside just seems to fade,

So dark I can't tell night from day.

The tunnel is endless and bleak,

Losing the joy I wish to keep,

Can't say the words I want to speak,

To stop the beast I long to beat,

Can't make a noise, can't make a peep,

The seeds are sown, it's time to reap.

  • myself and me

After the rain, the sky will be clear. All the rainy days shall pass, there are always sunny days after. Nice writing.
