Dear Future...

ACS

Dear future friend

Just a little warning when you get to know me

I'm the best jokester around, just wait and see

Don't take anything personal like my ex YOU did

Or just walk out of my life now like you knew you would

Dear future husband

Be ready for late night chats in front of the screen

And for long, dumb apologies for when I act mean

I like to cook, but might burn down the house

And you gotta be fun, no cries, no pouts

Dear future child

Whatever your gender, my love will be endless

I'll buy you a suit or a little white sundress

I will be the light in your life and lead you down the path

So please don't give me a hard time when you gotta take a bath

Dear future life

Don't give up on me now

Even if things are tough, I'll get through somehow

You gave me one chance, I'll take it and run

But don't lose hope when I need another one

My future and yours shine bright as a star

Follow it, no matter how near or far

So inventive and optimistic, hold onto that and keep writing what you feel. Very clever
