Exiled Mind

Edthepoet

I'm not scared of the world
I'm scared of myself
And this unlimited capacity
To self destruct
Any ultimatum
Isn't spared a fuck

If I could save you
And give you all of me
Id sacrifice my vices
And set us free

But you'll forever
Catch me searching for
Just a little taste
Okay a little more

Where love was once enough
And words were all I heard
Where hope wasn't scared to go
And tears were all I feared
Now lives one to many broken hearts
And an exiled mind.

Passionately honest look at where we find ourselves just before the exile.
