Lover of mankind.
Silence is indeed what
Western culture desires
without knowing...

I\'m a bit embarrassed - to presumably think so highly of my own reply and to post it as a stand alone poem...
I love this Buddhist-referencing poem, Gary, and agree whole-heartedly with the comment on unappreciated silence! To me, it is the most sacred of sounds. Well done!
