To no Avail

Nicholas Browning

~-------------~
Naught is it been said,
Acted yet;
Tranquility oft' lore of lunar gales,
Such calamity be due prophecy:
Renowned shadow,
Ever still.
Once hindered beyond salvation;
Questing consultation,
Aura blue, Aurora red:
Ever hinting the bitterness!
Conquered faith defined shallow belief:
Shan't apparitions forgive?
'Tis pleasantly compiled;
Think not? Know nothing. Think nothing? Know not.
Keel skyward, dreams!
Crouch, owning desires crowned upon Majesty!
If such a thing could kill;
Oh it could, it can, it has, and forever will.
Still soft is thine shattered,
Strong is it, yet discolored.
Unto blades which pierce vague souls,
Repeat solemnly what seldom know!
"I am weaker now than I ever have been, and I am stronger now,
Than I ever will be."
This covenant has come to rise, though only, did it fail.
Once more have I written; And read,
To no avail.

    A fine write N. A bit like: Why won't my telly work? Erm, try plugging it in and put the mains switch to 'on'. 'Ahh, that would be a help', he replied! heehee.

      Erm, Hi N. I didn't mean your poem hardly gets 'off the ground'! I meant the bit about how are we supposed to be ourselves, etc'. lol
