First Love

First Love

You are a boy one day

Next day you are a man

Change happens unannounced

Wither adults' denounce

Love robes thy innocence

Doing things that look silly

Waiting hours in the trolley

Take a glimpse of the woman

Sure you will marry

All that waiting is gone like a flicker

As she disappears around the corner

It was worth all the waiting

She smiled back with feelings

First love makes an indelible mark

Leaves a residue in your heart

Time does not obliterate

The memories of innocent faith

Life may flow like a river

Those memories may resurface

Like sediments in the river

Your first love

First love, taste like lime. Nice writing.
