Waiting

WL Schuett

she sits by the window

in a soft breeze

from the sea

dreaming in lace

of morning fruits

and fragrant teas

dreaming of the one

who sets her free

every evening

in loves honesty

cinnamon

oranges

sweet honeyed tea

rich chocolate kisses

silk lingerie

curtains rustle in a

soft , salty way

waiting for the one

who will take her sweet love

in the twilight of the day

and whisper her name to the

stars high above ...
