Martina Lynch

Have No Regrets

All the way down

To that where I feel

My right place

Heart meets breath

Loud in my ears

Beginnings of endings

Try to forget

Yesterdays sorrow

Tomorrows unrest

Today, is the moment

I have no regrets.

Those of us that come from similar backgrounds and upbringings will tend to relate better to each other than some others. Overall, I've found only one individual on MPS not to my liking. And certain ones I tend to gravitate to more easily. You Martina, are one of the latter. Thank you for your friendship and your inspiration.

Love the feeling you evoked with these lines Martina - so much to take from each moment when "heart meets breath" Great read.

Yes you can almost hear it...can't you? Thank you Fay!

Martina, you spoke deeply into my heart with this writing. This is a practice I use on my everyday meditation. To hear your heart in consonance with your breath. And only in the now one can find peace. Because only in the now you are not attached either to the past or to the future. I'm happy you can understand such an important matter. Thank you

It has always been a deep thought of mine...I can remember so clearly feeling those moments as a child...and it has occurred to me...that many on the autistic spectrum do in fact, live this way. This is why I feel it so much...It is associated with PTSD. I do meditate, however it is probably more like daydreaming, my mind never shuts off, it just runs and I can't stop it, and I don't want to, because I found I can write, after many years, of negative interjection! Thank you for your lovely comment Malu...Namaste!
