Rose Chronicles

By Arcassin Burnham

Having rough days as my life will receive them in a cold world without a dream,
let me draw a bath,
Like the kid that was the rose that never got to bloom or breath the poison air in
his lungs while stuck up your grass,
Is life worth living just enough to settle?
the cash increases and we know we are in trouble,
problems come and go , just have faith and let it pass.

Is there a light at the end of something we don't know exist?
when your at the bottom struggling , that'd be too hard to miss,
looking at yourself in the mirror , like what the fuck is this?
Don't have time for any lectures that the teachers will give,
family members casting out children,
and all these companies make millions,
off all ya'll pain and suffering,
like the homeless sleeping under pavilions,
looking for jobs for the summer,
Is your luck bad? so you wondered,
carrying some feelings down under.

Having rough days as my life will receive them in a cold world without a dream,
let me draw a bath,
Like the kid that was the rose that never got to bloom or breath the poison air in
his lungs while stuck up your grass,
Is life worth living just enough to settle?
the cash increases and we know we are in trouble,
problems come and go , just have faith and let it pass.
