Daughter~On~Fire

Poetic_Justice

Her tears withheld fear,
for darkness whispers violently in her ear,
parading a pure mind to conquer over vision while she stays a ghost amongst peers,
she remembers a youth when silence was bliss,
when screams by kins renounced the trust as sins cluster while her wishes turns to dust,
crime braced the outline of a heart that slowly starts to rust,
she leers upon a mirror dreaming for beauty for her minds forever concussed,
memories tainted and for the truth she seeks stays painted over by lies with a brush,
her willpower to love regresses patiently as she strays away from ever feeling.....good enough,
her cries are silent as her words do not exist,
her lies lie unto the truths power to defy confession by serenity's eyes,
May she rest in piece for her grave recites,
all those years..and not once has her soul ever stepped into the light,
to her the darkness was bright...
