Try me

Staffnotesoul11

Thats it i've had enough

I can't keep saying th same thing

when you can't keep up

My heads spinning

My hearts in strands

And you still think you winning

Boast all you want to

I aint a trophy

and i certainly aint apart of your crew

Nows your times up

and i am calling your bluff

You really think your that tough?

Go ahead try to fight me

I'll just say one word

and walk away smiling

You don't have the balls

to tell me I'm wrong

You aint got no back bone to stand tall

I've been throught the fire

Had Satans hand print burned on my back

But did you see me melt like a rubber tire track?

I've felt the pressure

Pushed throught the pain

And you ask me what I've got to gain

I dont need to you

or ANYONE to hold my hand

So guess what, I'm a big girl now...

And i know how to stand

  • Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this when I was kind of in a dark place, I was tired of people pushing me around and telling me I couldn't do it or that I wasn't enough. People try and get me to do what they want well I don't do what other people want I am mown person and that what I tried to show in this poem... my self confidence and my strength
