Hobbies in Words

b-LAH-que

Hobbies in words may explain what hurts in ways pretense may hide
No matter how true, experience pales to the picture that these words provide
The stories beholden endure tales of tries
and cries at love that was born and died
people who mourn and sigh morning to night
torn in ways unjustified
born of days of foolish ways
in play without rules on unschooled nights
that give us the days for which we'll have cried
With nothing to quite so strongly remind in a way so divine as to shed light inside
as what hobbies in words may provide
