The Darkness

Hannah.Almatarneh

Looking at you is like looking into pitch black darkness

Not knowing the danger of what I set my eyes on

But trusting that the dark is pure

I change my trust into fear

Once the skeletons in his closet slowly come uncovered

They grab you and pull powerfully

Into the darkness

  • Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this piece to portray how someone who seems so perfect and pure can turn out to be devilish and deceiving. It is also a warning to get out before they pull you into their toxic love. Please enjoy and i hope you can personally connect with the words in this poem
