The worlds end

twenty1975s

It isn't easy to understand
But will you hold my hand?
As the sky turns from blue
And the world is overdue
Will you be at the place where our love was found?
When echoes and screams are the only sound
Let the evening in the back door
As ash casts shadows on the floor
What a surprise this wasn't caused by mankind
All their deceiving plans left behind
Our families safe in a shelter
While we're up here watching hell turn
Fire falls from above
And then suddenly we're no longer in love
