Love-Tongue.
Oh glorious Word,
whose love-tongue sang lily or
cloud, rain or rose,
fish, frog, fruit or bloom, whose
tune trumpets at dawn
or twilight still orchestrate stars,
can speak thunder,
sunshine, hailstorm and snow.
Oh wondrous Word,
who composed alligator, whale,
lion, cat, dog or mouse,
who gifts wisdom to ant, gorilla,
elephant and goat,
scribes beauty in nature's atomic
matter, can write
mystical symmetry of structured
perfection, combine
signature language with live kind,
provide exciting
vocabulary and grammatical flow
to earth's fine symphony.
Word, praise to thee
who sang thine own Self into gross
humanity eons ago
to teach heavenly linguistics which
divinely reflect diversity.

A perfection of a poem, Fay, giving tribute to Creator and the exquisite scheme of this world we all share. Beautifully presented in form!
Diversity shows our uniqueness. Great read, thank you
I have rarely read anything so beautiful about the One whose very syllables carved galaxy, flower, and fingerprint; that He loved so much, and poured out for humble skin and bones. What a gift, this morning's worship found in poem words. Just wow.
Fay, I've read beautiful words from you but this one brought me to tears. This is the most beautiful poem I ever read about God and creation. Thanks for this awesome.
